Matcha Yuzu Soda Recipe

This matcha yuzu soda is a one-of-a-kind drink that exquisitely combines the earthy flavor of matcha, the fizzy soda, and the sweet and tart taste of yuzu jam.
You can also substitute marmalade or strawberries instead of yuzu, so try creating your own matcha soda to suit your taste.
Why Matcha + Soda?
Matcha’s smooth, rich, and slightly bitter flavor makes it the perfect pairing with refreshing sparkling water.
Adding a fruity accent like yuzu jam creates a cafe-style sparkling drink perfect for a hot day.
If you don’t have yuzu jam on hand, you can use any other jam to make this drink.

- Matcha powder: 2g
- Sugar: 2g
- Hot water: 30ml
- Yuzu jam: 30g

- Lemon slice: 1 (for garnish)

Top with a slice of lemon for a fresh citrus aroma. Serve immediately and enjoy the fizzy, refreshing taste!
Pro Tips for the Perfect Matcha Soda
- If you can’t find yuzu jam, marmalade or strawberry jam make great substitutes.
- For a less sweet version, reduce the jam slightly and let the citrus shine through.
- To make it café-style, serve in a tall clear glass to show off the beautiful green and golden layers.
